Consultant Planner - FamilySearch Part 3

Today we are going to go over The Consultant Planner. This is a great resource to keep track of those you teach in your ward or stake. You can create lesson plans, complete some research on the members line ahead of time and track progress with notes.

Sign into your FamilySearch account, then follow the graphic below to get to the Consultant Resources.

I am now going to share with you two videos that will explain the process. This first video comes from Rexburg Family History Center and it is FANTASTIC. This is what we need to do with our members.

This 2nd video comes from the church and FamilySearch and it focuses on the spiritual side of the research when we share what we have learned with our family. And notice that the sister learns the process ahead of time and then let's her brother 'find the family members' on his own. It will bring tears to your eyes.

It is so important to use these tools to help others help themselves and their families. A great resource for us and them. We need to become very familiar with these tools.
